Sweetly spiced snicker-doodles.

Snicker-Doodles

Snicker-Doodles

Yields 15 Servings

​

Ingredients:

​

*1 Cup of Butter (softened)

* 3/4 Cup of Sugar

*1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar

*2 Eggs 

*1 tbsp. of Vanilla

*1 tsp. of Baking Soda

*1 tsp. of Cream of Tartar

*1/2 tsp. of Salt

*1 tsp. of Cinnamon

*2 3/4 Cups of flour

**Cinnamon Sugar Mixture

*1/4 Cup of Sugar

*1 tbsp. of Cinnamon

​

Directions:

​

-Preheat oven to 325 F.

-Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

-In a large bowl mix the butter, sugar, and  brown sugar together  until light and fluffy.

-Add in the eggs, vanilla, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt, and cinnamon and mix for 1 minute.

-Add in flour, mix until just combined.

-In a separate small bowl, make your cinnamon sugar by mixing together cinnamon and sugar, stirring until evenly combined.

-Use cookie scoop portion out the dough and roll into a ball. Then roll each cookie dough ball into the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.

-Place on baking sheet about 2- inches apart.

-Bake for 10-12 minutes, turning cookie sheet halfway through baking.

-Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 3-4 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
