Ingredients:

**Wet
*1/2 Cup of Sugar
*3/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
*4 tbsp. Butter (melted and cooled)
*4 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
*2 Large Eggs
*3/4 Cup of Milk
*1 1/3 tsp. Cream of Tartar
*2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

**Dry
*2 3/4 Cup of All Purpose Flour
*1/2 Cup of Cocoa Powder
*1 tsp. of Baking Powder
*1/2 tsp. of Baking Soda
*1/4 tsp. of Salt
* 1 Cup of Milk Chocolate Chips
*1/2 Cup of Mint Chips (Andes Brand)

Directions:
​
-Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
-Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
-In a large bowl, add wet ingredients, then whisk to combine.
-Add dry ingredients to bowl with wet ingredients. Stir until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips and peppermint chips.
-Fill the tins about 3/4 full with batter.
-Sprinkle the batter with 1 tsp. of peppermint chips.
-Turn the oven temperature down to 350 degrees F. and place muffins in oven.
-Bake 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
-Allow the muffins to cool in the tins for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
