Every so often, the both of us just crave biscuits and gravy. Typically, people think of it as a breakfast food, but sometimes it's just too ambitious in the morning and it gets moved to dinner time. Some may disagree, but tastes just as good at night, as it does in the morning.

Classic biscuits and gravy with

a spicy kick.

Biscuits and Gravy

Yields 10 Servings

Ingredients:

​

*1 lb. of Ground Italian Sausage (Mild)

*3 ½ Cups Milk

*1/3 Cup of Flour

*½ tsp. Lawry’s Seasoning Salt

*1/8 tsp. Salt

*2 tsp. Black Pepper (Add more to taste)

*Pinch of Black Peppercorn

*Warmed Biscuits

Directions:

-Brown the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink.

-Reduce heat to medium-low and begin sprinkling the flour little by little until the sausage soaks it up.

-Cook for about a minute more, then add milk. Make sure to stir continuously.

-Cook the gravy and keep stirring until it is thick (This may take around 10 min).

-Add the Lawry’s, salt, and pepper once thick, season to taste.

-Serve the gravy over the biscuits and add a pinch of black peppercorn.
